On Universal Smoke Offering Day, June 29, 2026, the monastic community of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's Tantric College gathered at the courtyard in front of the Golden Reliquary Temple of the Omniscient Situ Panchen. They arranged elaborate offering clouds consisting of white and sweet foods, various medicines and grains, silk fabrics and torma substances, and prayer flags and prayer banners. Through performing a smoke offering ritual, they honored the four types of guests, including the gods, nagas, and local spirits who protect the side of virtue, entrusting them with enlightened activities and making aspirations for the welfare of the Buddha’s teachings and all sentient beings.
