On the afternoon of June 20, 2026, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa visited Benchen Shedra Nangten Thösam Ling, situated at the sacred site of Yangleshö (Pharping) in Nepal. Kyabje Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche and Tenga Yangsi Rinpoche, together with the khenpos, teachers, leaders, and the entire monastic assembly, and the school's teachers and students, welcomed him with an elaborate traditional golden procession. After Guru Vajradhara paid homage to the sacred representations and took his seat on the throne, representatives of the assembly, led by Kyabje Nyenpa Rinpoche, offered a mandala and the three sacred representations, and traditional tea and sweet rice were served. Guru Vajradhara then bestowed a reading transmission of the “Mahamudra Aspiration Prayer,” along with precious guidance and advice, and performed consecration rituals and blessings for the sacred representations. Thereafter, led by an elaborate golden procession, Guru Vajradhara proceeded to the Benchen Ösel Ling Retreat Center. Following the offering of a mandala, the three sacred representations, and traditional tea and sweet rice, he bestowed upon the assembled gathering a reading transmission of the “Seven-Point Mind Training,” together with concise guidance on the key points of the paths of means and liberation, along with other valuable instructions and advice. He then performed consecration rituals and blessings for both the outer structures and inner sacred supports of the retreat center.
