On October 18, 2026, corresponding to the eighth day of the ninth Tibetan month, the khenpos, lamas, and entire community of nuns at Palpung Yeshi Rabgye Ling Nunnery performed the "Opening the Door of Primordial Wisdom" guru sadhana as a memorial offering to commemorate the life and activities of His Holiness the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, the embodiment of enlightened activity of all buddhas throughout the three times. This sacred observance marked the anniversary of His Holiness the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa’s mind merging into the dharmadhatu.
