From October 31, to November 2, 2026, which coincided with the 22nd day of the 9th lunar month, the day of Buddha Shakyamuni’s descent from Tushita heaven, led by the monastic seat’s Vajra Master, the entire community of the Palpung Sherabling Tantric College, together with monastics and lay devotees who had gathered from various places, observed the annual practice of the Nyungne fasting ritual according to Gelongma Palmo’s tradition.
